Discovery Cove also houses the Sensory Exploration Room- A Calming and Engaging Space for All.

The Sensory Exploration Room is a specially designed space for children who need a quieter, more controlled environment. With soft lighting, calming sounds, and a variety of sensory-friendly textures and tools, children can engage with the world around them in a way that feels safe and comfortable. This exhibit supports sensory development and regulation, providing a haven for all children, especially those with sensory processing needs. The space is perfect for children who need a peaceful break from the excitement of other exhibits while still engaging in exploratory play.
